August 17, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie had the opportunity to extended to Mr. Karim Keramuddin, President of the Afghanistan Football Association, a warm welcome to Japan. Mr. A.G. Poya Faryabi, Minister Counsellor; and Mr. Sayed Ali Asghar Amiri were also present.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed great appreciation for the efforts that Mr. Keramuddin has made in rising the profile of Afghan sports and motivating many.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also had the pleasure of greeting Mr. Kohzo Tashima, Vice President and Executive General Secretary of the Japan Football Association.

11/08/2014 Ambassador Dr. Fatimie welcomes Deputy Director-General Misawa of MoFA Japan to the Embassy

August 11, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie extended a warm welcome to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Mr. Yasushi Misawa, who has recently been appointed Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan’s Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau. Mr. A.G. Poya Faryabi, Minister Counsellor; Mr. Mohammad Yasir Karimi; Mr. Sayed Ali Asghar Amiri; and Mrs. Parwana Paikan were also present.
 
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed pleasure with the very appropriate appointment of Mr. Misawa to his current position and stated that he is looking forward to together enhancing even further the already warm ties between Afghanistan and Japan. Moreover, the Ambassador, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed sincerest appreciation for Japan’s impact-generating cooperation in peace and development, particularly noting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ great stewardship.

August 8, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie received warmly the Mr. Fumio Iwai, who has recently been appointed Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan’s Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau. Mr. A.G. Poya Faryabi, Minister Counsellor; Mr. Mohammad Yasir Karimi; and Mrs. Parwana Paikan were also present in representation of the Embassy.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie welcomed Mr. Iwai’s well-deserved placement, expressing a readiness to work together towards further deepening the already warm ties between Afghanistan and Japan. The Ambassador in relation further, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed deepest gratitude for the partnership that Japan though the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has generously provided towards Afghanistan’s peace and development, noting the great positive impact this has had.

August 7, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie welcomed warmly to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo a high-level delegation from the Central Statistics Organization (CSO) Afghanistan office comprised of President General Shir Mohammad Jamisada, President General, Director Mohammad Sami Nabi of the Field Operations Department, and Director Ms. Rahila Arif of the Social and Demographic Statistics Department. The delegation is visiting for a program involving the Statistics Bureau of Japan, sponsored by the UNFPA.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie took the opportunity to express sincerest gratitude for the efforts of the CSO Afghanistan and its esteemed staff for the efforts that have been extended to bring positive developments for the nation. Speaking on a number of issues related, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie further wished the delegation an excellent stay in Japan and a successful program.
