Ambassador Fatimie said that he hopes that Afghanistan and Yamanashi will deepen their cooperation, particularly in terms of providing scholarships and fellowships to Afghan students to study in Yamanashi, a suggestion which was taken with great interest by Hon. Vice-Governor Hiraide.

Ambassador Fatmie also would like to express special gratitude to President Masakazu Ikeda, his esteemed family, and the staff of Hotel Kimiyoshi in Yamanashi, who provided an excellent stay and friendly hospitality.
