Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie extended a warm welcome to long-time friends from JICA, Director General Masataka Nakahara and Haruyuki Shimada of the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s (JICA’s) Southeast Asia Department, as well as Hiroaki Takashima, Chief Representative of JICA's office in Afghanistan who is currently visiting Japan. Mr S. Ali Asghar Amiri, Third Secretary, was also present at the meeting.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimi expressed deepest gratitude, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for JICA's support, development and significant work carried out in Afghanistan.
Mr Takashima Hiroaki briefly discussed the latest initiatives and corporation JICA are currently working on in Afghanistan in support of the further spread of peace and development.
