Courtesy Call by Visiting Afghan Delegation Participants Under ‘Japan Platform’.
May 10, 2018: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo, had the pleasure of welcoming 16 Afghan delegates visiting Japan under the NGO ‘Japan Platform’.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat gave opening remarks welcoming the guests to the embassy and encouraging them to make the most of their unique experience in Japan. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat’s remarks were followed by a few words from First Secretary, Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard, and then Program Manager of Community World Service Asia, Mr. Muhammad Hashim Sadozi.
After the terrific and brilliant speeches, the guests were served sheer chai and sweets. The courtesy call by the visiting delegation, as well as their visit to Japan, shows the strong relationship between Afghanistan and Japan and their mutual determination to create an Afghanistan led by Afghans.
