Attendance at the Opening of Special Photo Exhibition at Embassy of Oman.
May 7, 2018: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the opening of the Special Photo Exhibition at the Chancery of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Tokyo, Japan.
At the reception, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat expressed his thanks to H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Hashil bin Mohammed Al-Muslahi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Tokyo, for the invitation to this event and congratulated him on what was sure to be a most successful photo exhibition. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Al-Muslahi thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his attendance as well as for his kind words. The two agreed to further strengthen the friendly relations between their two nations.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Mrs. Akie Abe, the First Lady of Japan to whom he expressed his sincerest thanks, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the continuous and benevolent assistance of the people and Government of the noble nation of Japan towards furthering Afghan reconstruction, realizing peace, and achieving progress. In return, H.E. Mrs. Abe thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and assured him that Japan holds a special place in its heart for Japan. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with several of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, and other distinguished guests with whom he further discussed topics of mutual interest.
