Attendance at the 46th National Day Reception of UAE.

November 28, 2017: It was an honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat to attend the reception on the occasion of the 46th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, hosted by the Embassy of the UAE of Japan, at the Palace Hotel Tokyo.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his best wishes on this auspicious day to H.E. Mr. Khaled Omran Sqait Sarhan Alameri, Ambassador of UAE to Japan. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their respective countries, as well as added his heartfelt thanks for all of the UAE's assistance to Afghanistan over the years and for their recent promise of assistance. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Alameri expressed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the kind words and attendance at the celebration and agreed to make even more profound the relations between Afghanistan and UAE.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Mr. Manabu Horii, Parliamentary Vice Minister, MOFA Japan, with whom he exchanged the usual pleasantries, as well as H.E. Mr. Mr. Giorgio Starace, Ambassador of Italy to Japan, and H.E. Mr. Lui Tuk Yew, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Japan. Additionally, he met with Mr. Akira Amari, former Trade Minister of Japan, several other of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, members of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed various topics of mutual interest.
