November 9, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the honor and pleasure of attending the Garden Party at Akasaka Imperial Gardens hosted by Their Imperial Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Madam Mohabbat, their Daughter, as well as Mr. Ahmad Bashir Ghafoori, First Secretary and Consul, accompanied H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat to the event.
With much reverence, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Their Majesties, as well as to Their Imperial Highness Crown Prince and Crown Princess for hosting the event. Furthermore, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat expressed his gratitude, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for Japan’s continuous support of Afghanistan and her people.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had had the pleasure of meeting and talking with H.E. Madam Seiko Noda, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, to whom he expressed his heartfelt thanks for Japan’s continual and benevolent support of Afghanistan. In return she thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words an expressed her interest that their two countries, Afghanistan and Japan, develop deeper and more profound ties. Additionally he met and spoke with several of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, Diplomats with missions in Japan, and high ranking members of Japanese Government present with whom he discussed many topics of mutual interest.
