Attendance at Opening Ceremony of National Diet
September 26, 2016: It was an honor and pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie and Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to be invited for the occasion to observe the Opening Ceremony of the 192nd Extraordinary Session of the National Diet of Japan. In what was an auspicious event held in the Chamber of the House of Councillors, new policies of the Government of Japan were announced. His Excellency Prime Minister Shinzo Abe delivered a policy speech on the resolution in protest of the fifth nuclear test in the region during the plenary session.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie and Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of greeting many of the Ambassadors and Diplomats who were in attendance, including the honorable Mr. Minoru Kihara, Sate Minister of Finance Member of the House of Representatives; and the honorable Mr. Takahisa Miyao, Senior Coordinator for the Department of International Relations for Japan; with whom many topics of mutual interest were discussed.
