H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Reception for the 51st National Day of Singapore

September 4, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had a pleasure in attending the celebration of the 51st Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Singapore. This day commemorates the Singapore’s independence from Malaysia beginning in 1965. On behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as the non-resident diplomatic representative of Singapore, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie congratulated H.E. Ambassador Mr. Chin Siat Yoon on the occasion.

H.E. Dr. Fatimie thanked H.E. Mr. Chin for the years of assistance Singapore has provided to Afghanistan, particularly in the field of human capacity building. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Chin Siat Yoon thanked H.E. Dr. Fatimie for his attendance, kind words, and friendship. Their Excellencies also discussed the issues of mutual interest including the upcoming Brussels Conference on Afghanistan, scheduled in early October.
