H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie attends “Anticipate Further Step Forward” reception hosted by Honorable Ms. Seiko Noda, member of the House of Representatives.
September 2, 2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a reception at the Imperial Hotel hosted by the Honorable Ms. Seiko Noda, member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Special Committee on Disaster Management. Also in attendance representing the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo was Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Minister-Counsellor. The reception was entitled “Anticipate Further Step Forward” and was attended by several dignitaries and special guests.
H.E. Dr. Fatimie had the opportunity to sincerely wish Hon. Representative Noda congratulations for having successfully organized such a momentous reception, in which she was able to connect with supporters and key contacts. Ambassador Fatimie further expressed his deepest gratitude for all of the assistance that Japan and its noble parliamentarians have done to better the lives of the Afghan people. They discussed their commitment to points made at the Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan in 2012, and how to proceed with this year’s Brussels Conference on Afghanistan which is scheduled to be held on October 4-5.
