08/05/2015 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends National Day of Djibouti Reception

 His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie took great pleasure in congratulating the Ambassador of Djibouti His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Araita Ali and diplomats at celebrations for the National Day of Djibouti. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Ali thanked H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie for his attendance and expressed his best wishes for Afghanistan's continued development.
With many high ranking officials in attendance, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie used the occasion to hold discussion with State Minister of Defence His Excellency Mr. Akira Sato; Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs The Honorable Mr. Takashi Uto; Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Defence The Honorable Mr. Hirotaka Ishikawa; MoFA Japan's Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau Director General and Special Representative to Afghanistan The Honorable Mr. Tsukasa Uemura; Deputy Director of MoFA Japan's Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau Mr. Yasushi Misawa; Member of the House of Representatives The Honorable Mr. Shinichi Nakatani; Member of the House of Representatives The Honorable Mr. Kenji Yamada; Member of the House of Representatives The Honorable Mr. Ichiro Isawa and many other senior officials.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie spent considerable time informing The Hon. Mr. Ishikawa of the latest developments in Afghanistan who assured Japan's continuing support for the country's socio-economic development while extending his hopes for durable peace and stability.
In order to further improve Afghanistan's profile in Japan's private sector, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also met with leading figures such as CEO of APA Group Mr. Toshio Motoya; Vice President of Takashu Co. Ltd Mr. Nobutaka Takahashi; President of Sun More Japan Ms. Hiromi Roslina Okamoto; member of Japan Professional Photographers Society Mr. Kenzo Saeki; and discussed matters of mutual interest.
