Mr. Hamdard Attends the 27th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan
September 12th, 2018: It was a great honor for First Secretary and Consul Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo, Japan Embassy to attend the celebration of the 27th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan at Hotel Okura. On behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mr. Hamdard expressed his sincerest gratitude to the people and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan through H.E. Ambassador Mr. Gayrat Fazilov for the occasion and the invitation. He further hailed the steadfast ties between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, expressing his hope that this friendship would further intensify for the peace and prosperity of both countries and of the region.
At the event, Mr. Hamdard also had the pleasure to meet with several Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, other Heads of Missions and Diplomats with missions in Japan, members of parliament, and other distinguished guests, some of whom Mr. Hamdard discussed many topics of mutual interest with.
