Receiving Mr. Nemoto Naoyuki and Mr. Watanabe Takeshi from JICA
March 7th 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had the pleasure of receiving Mr. Nemoto Naoyuki, Director of the South Asia Department of JICA, and Mr. Watanabe Takeshi, the newly appointed Chief Representative of the Afghanistan Office of JICA. Also present for the meeting was Mr. Asif Agah, Second Secretary for the Embassy of Afghanistan in Japan.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his gratitude to JICA for its contributions to Afghanistan and congratulated Mr. Watanabe Takeshi on becoming the Chief Representative of the Afghanistan Office. In return, Chief Representative, Mr. Watanabe Takeshi, conveyed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Fatimie and assured his support during his mission in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Since 2002, JICA has helped the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in stabilizing the self-support effort for the people of Afghanistan. Furthermore, JICA believes that the human capacity building is an essential block to help improve Afghanistan. They also discussed many topics of mutual interests.
