Attendance at the 60th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Ghana
MARCH 6, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had a pleasure in attending the reception of the 60th Independence Anniversary Celebration Day of The Republic of Ghana at the Okura Hotel. In honor of the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie congratulated the Republic of Ghana and His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Sylvester J.K Parker-Allotey, as well as the Ghanaian diplomats in attendance, on behalf of the people and the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan . In return, H.E Ambassador Mr. Sylvester J.K Parker-Allotey expressed his appreciation (for H.E Dr Fatimie’s attendance) as well as his hope for furthering peace and prosperity in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
H.E. Dr. Fatimie also had an opportunity to meet and converse with honorable high-ranking officials of the Government of Japan, such as H.E. Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan and Member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Katsuyuki Kawai; Hon. Mr. Masashi Adachi, Member of the House of Councillors and Director of Foreign Affairs Division; Hon. Mr. Dai Shimamura, Member of the House of Councillors; Mr. Koji Yonetani, Executive Vice President of JETRO; Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain, President of Kushal Impex Inc.; Mr. Masanori Nogi, President of the Ethiopian Association of Japan; Mr. Nobuo Koizumi, of the Defense & Airborne Systems department of Itochu Aviation Co. LTD.; Mr. Etsuko Kimura of the Goi Peace Foundation; Mr. Yoshio Ishida General Manager of Development Division of Quality Life Co. LTD; as well as several of their Excellencies Ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions stationed in Tokyo representing their respective nations.
