Dinner Party Hosted by H.E. Ambassador of Croatia.
January 17, 2018: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend a dinner party hosted by H.E. Ambassador Mr. Dražen Hrastić and Madam Hrastić, in honor of the new appointment of the Ambassador of Republic of Turkey, H.E. Dr. Hasan Murat Mercan, at the Ambassador’s Residence of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Tokyo.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his thanks to H.E. Ambassador Mr. Hrastić for the invitation to the elegant and well appointed dinner, as well as thanked him on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the support of the people and Government of Croatia over the past years of reconstruction. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their respective countries. In return, H.E. Mr. Hrastić expressed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the kind words and attendance at the dinner and agreed to further strengthen and make more profound the relations between Afghanistan and Croatia.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also congratulated H.E. Dr. Mercan on the recent ascension to his position as Ambassador, wishing his all the best successes during his mission, to which H.E. Dr. Mercan thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked him on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the support of the people and Government of the brotherly country of the Republic of Turkey. In return, H.E. Dr. Mercan thanked him for his kind words and assured him Turkey would countinue to stand with Afghanistan. Both expressed their wishes to further strengthen and make more profound the relations between their two countries.
