26/05/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends the 25th Independence Day of Georgia



May 26, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had a pleasure in attending the reception celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Independence of Georgia. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Levan Tsintsadze of Georgia, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, his congratulations for the occasion. H.E. Dr. Fatimie added that Afghanistan is grateful for Georgia’s support, particularly the recent deployment of Georgian soldiers to Resolute Support Mission. H.E. Ambassador Tsintsadze in return expressed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Fatimie for his attendance and his kind words, as well as by mentioning their engagement to Afghanistan. He also expressed that they would continue their commitment.


H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had a further pleasure in meeting again with the Honorable Mr. Masakazu Hamachi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Member of the House of Representative. H.E. Dr. Fatimie expressed his appreciation, on behalf of the people and the Government of Afghanistan, to Hon. Mr. Hamachi for Japan’s assistances to Afghanistan. Mr. Hamachi responded to H.E. Ambassador that it was his pleasure to meet again, and assured their continued support.
H.E. Dr. Fatimie also met with many of the guests who attended the reception, such as Ms. Takako Ito, Assistant Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan; H.E. Mr. Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Dr. Tetsuji Tanaka, Director of Central Asia & Caucasus Research Institute, Japan; Mr. Nobuhisa Degawa, Senior Commentator, NHK; Mr. Takashi Kurihara, Mr. Kazuhiro Konishi, and Mr. Shohei Nagai of Marubeni Corporation.
