January 14, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad
Amin Fatimie had a pleasure of attending “Ambassadors &TOKYO,” a New
Year’s event hosted by Tokyo Metropolitan Government. H.E. Ambassador
Dr. Fatimie expressed a happy New Year to H.E. Governor of Tokyo Mr.
Yoichi Masuzoe, and congratulated his governorship last year as well as
he wished the Olympic and Paralympic games scheduled in 2020 here at
Tokyo be very successful. H.E. Governor Masuzoe appreciated, and Their
Excellencies, both former health ministers of Afghanistan and Japan
respectively, agreed to keep the cooperation efforts between the embassy
and Tokyo government.
H.E. Dr. Fatimie also had a pleasure to converse with other attending
Ambassadors, diplomatic personnel, Tokyo Metropolitan Government
officials, and distinguished guests.
