Jan. 08, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin
Fatimie warmly welcomed Mr. John Durkin, the Representative Governor,
and Mr. Anthony L. Cala, General Manager, of Tokyo American Club. The
two guests visited the embassy as its neighbor to express their new
year’s greetings. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie extended his wishes for
the prosperous new year for Mr. Durkin and Mr. Cala as well as for Tokyo
American Club. Mr. Durkin appreciated and in return, he, too, expressed
his hope to cooperate with the embassy to maintain the successful new
year in the good neighborhood. He also noted that he was very happy to
revisit the embassy after the last time, when he attended the reception
on the occasion of welcoming Afghan First Lady in last August, for the
embassy’s continuous hospitality. The meeting was held in a friendly
atmosphere with the attendance with all the diplomats of the embassy.
