January 1, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and the Ambassadress attended the special Presentation of New Years Greetings of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. On this occasion, the Ambassador and Ambassadress were able to extend a gesture of courtesy honoring the occasion.
Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of multiple nations diplomatically represented in Japan were also in attendance. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie was able to offer greetings of the New Year to many of these distinguished persons as well.
