March 24, 2018: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the great honor and pleasure of attending the Uzbekistan Traditional Dance Concert entitled “Nowruz 2018” at the Akasaka Civic Center hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo.

His Excellency Dr. Mohabbat enjoyed the performance and met with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Mr. Fazilov, and congratulated him on the well-organized event as well as thanked him for the kind invitation. At the event, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting with more of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, and other honorary delegates.

September 5, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie, with sincere compassion, visited the Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan for a Condolence Book signing. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, his deepest condolences on the passing of H.E. Mr. Islam Abduganievich KAMIROV, president of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as expressed his sympathy to the entire nation.

September 25, 2015: It was a great honor for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie to attend the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan reception. On behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie congratulated H.E. Mr. Farrukh Islomdjonovich Tursunov, Uzbek Ambassador, for the occasion and expressed his sincere wishes for the betterment of the people as well as the friendly relationship of two neighboring nations. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Tursunov appreciated H.E. Dr. Fatimie’s attendance and kind wishes in response.
The reception was celebrated by the attendance of many key individuals including H.E. Mr. Kentaro Sonoura, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Honorable Member of House of Representatives, who delivered His speech representing the Government of Japan. Also in attendance, it was a great pleasure and honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie to meet again and converse with H.E. the Honorable Member of House of Councillors Mrs. Kyoko Nakayama, former Minister / former Japanese Ambassador to Uzbekistan (pictured below on the right); and Mr. Hiroo Saionji, president of Goi Peace Foundation.

March 26, 2015: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the great honor of attending the People's Republic of Bangladesh's National Day which was warmly hosted by Ambassador of Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Masud Bin Momen.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also took immense pleasure in meeting with Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs The Honorable Mr. Kazuyuki Nakane, Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry The Honorable Mr. Yoshihiro Seki, former President of JICA The Honorable Madam Sadako Ogata, former Parliamentary Secretary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and also former Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and current Member of the House of Councillors The Honorable Dr. Kazuyuki Hamada, Ambassador of Uzbekistan His Excellency Mr. Farrukh Islomdjonovich Tursunov, and with the Head of the Representative Office of Palestine in Tokyo the highly esteemed Mr. Waleed Siam which acted to further enhance the relations shared between Afghanistan, Japan and other important countries.
