Attendance at the Shizuoka Cultural Exchange and Business Networking.

October 30th, 2018: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure of attending the Cultural Exchange and Business Networking event hosted by the Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture, Dr. Heita Kawakatsu, at Keio Plaza Hotel.
At the event, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat was beyond delighted to hear about the immense social and economic progress in Shizuoka. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat did not forget to extend his deepest gratitude to the Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture, his long time friend, Dr. Heita Kawakatsu, for the invitation and congratulated Dr. Kawakatsu and the people of Shizuoka on the favorable outcomes of their hard work. In return, Dr. Kawakatsu thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and expressed his wishes for enhancing business opportunities and cultural exchanges between Japan, especially Shizuoka Prefecture, and the people and Government of Afghanistan. Both gentlemen agreed that cooperation at all levels is an important contribution to deepening the bonds between the two countries and the two peoples in light of regional and international development.
The event was the chance for the leadership and people of Shizuoka to showcase and inform public and private sectors about the developmental success and profound potentials of the province. It was also a great occasion for H.E. Dr. Mohabbat and other distinguished guests to meet and discuss topics of mutual interests regarding socio-economic collaboration and assistance.

Mr. Ghafoori attends the Fujinokuni (Home of Mt. Fuji) Reception

November 20th, 2017: Mr. Ghafoori attended the Fujinokuni (Home of Mt. Fuji) Reception on Monday, November 20th. It was an evening of cultural exchange and business networking hosted by the Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture, Dr. Heita Kawakatsu. Hundreds of guests gathered together in the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku to discuss and learn about the business, culture, and social undertakings of Shizuoka.

Mr. Ghafoori thanked Dr. Kawakatsu for hosting the event and congratulated him on it being a success. He also stated that he would love to visit Shizuoka someday soon. In return, the Governor thanked Mr. Ghafoori for attending the reception and invited him to come to Shizuoka. He met with Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, members of the Japanese Government, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed various topics of mutual interest.
