Meeting with Mr. Masataka Nakahara, Visiting Project Leader / Agricultural Policy Advisor for CDIS.
April 2, 2018: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting with long-friend Mr. Masataka Nakahara, Visiting , Project Leader and Agricultural Policy Advisor for Capacity Development and Institutional Strengthening Project (CDIS) at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Japan. Also in attendance was Mr. Asif Agah, Second Secretary.
His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat warmly welcomed Mr. Nakahara to the Embassy. In return, Mr. Nakahara expressed his deepest gratitude to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat for finding time in his busy schedule to meet with him, and for the warm welcome. Further, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat renewed his deepest appreciation, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for Japan’s contribution to developing education, health, and agriculture both rurally and in urban areas in Afghanistan. Mr. Nakahara assured that he and his team will continue to cooperate for constant gains in those fields, especially in agriculture. Mr. Nakahara also called for support for Afghan graduates from study in Japan, to whom they provided scholarships, in their future careers in Afghanistan.
