Condolence Book Signing at Embassy of the Marshall Islands
August 29, 2017: Mr. Ahmad Bashir Ghafoori, First Secretary and Consul, visited the Embassy of the Marshall Islands in Tokyo for the condolence book signing in memory of Hon. Mattlan Zackhras, Minister-in-Assistance to H.E. the President of the Republic of the Marshall Island, and H.E. Tony A. deBrum, Climate Ambassador and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. On behalf of the Government and Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mr. Ghafoori expressed his deepest condolences for the untimely loss of Hon, Mattlan Zackhras and H.E. Tony A deBrum. Mr. Ghafoori also commented on their many great achievements and the legacy they leave behind. Furthermore, Mr. Ghafoori offered his prayers to their respective families, and for the people and Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands during this time of great sadness.
H.E. Mr. Tom D. Kijiner, Ambassador of the Republic of the Marshall Islands in Japan, extended his sincerest thanks to Mr. Ghafoori for his kind words and for taking the time to come and pay his respects at the condolence book signing
