January 1, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and the Ambassadress attended a reception in honor of the New Year at the Imperial Palace. The Ambassador and Ambassadress offered to the Imperial Couple respectful gestures of congratulations on the New Year. A number of Japanese and international dignitaries were on hand for the event, as pictured above.
